That's a truly horrifying amazing amount of grunt for 1990: the F40 was only putting out about 450.

I expect the chassis is a little, um, non-stock. Lister know a thing or two about modifying Jags. The tyres, on the other hand, haven't got a shit's show.

I'd bet this is actually less unreliable than a stock one. The worst bits of the XJS were the engine cooling, the fuel system, and the underhood electrics. None of which are likely to be OEM here.

Plus there's the fact that it will kill you within 30 seconds of pulling out of your driveway, so its window of opportunity to break is pretty slim. Although it's ultimately still an XJS, so it'll probably manage it.
